WHAT WE DO

Currently, Saidiya Centre provides services to 54 orphans and vulnerable children through Saidiya Foster Program and 30 orphans and vulnerable children with medical complications through Saidiya Home.  The greatest need of Saidiya Community Centre is sponsors to pay for the expenses of the children who are receiving services both in the home and the community. These expenses include the cost of food, clothing, school fees, medical expenses, and money to pay the caretakers and social workers. Saidiya Initiative  relies on donations to meet the costs of providing for all the unsponsored children. 

Saidiya Foster Home is in need of land and a structure to provide an office, a counseling room and temporary housing for orphans and vulnerable children in case of emergency placement. Saidiya Initiative is raising money to purchase land and build a structure, pit latrine, and dig a shallow well.
